Financial Administrator / Bookkeeper for Christian Church in New York City
The Journey is a young (20 years old), growing, contemporary church in New York City (Manhattan). Currently with services each week in Times Square and Online.

We are looking for an energetic, upbeat person with financial / bookkeeping experience (including QuickBooks) and administrative gifts to serve on staff as Financial Administrator / Bookkeeper. The position would be Monday-Thursday in the office with some evenings required. And then Sundays both assisting the team at the church service and in the office afterwards.
Financial administrator / Bookkeeper esponsibilities include bill payment, check requests, managing payroll, reconciling statements, producing giving statements, financial reports, working with insurance, deposits. Looking for someone who is efficient of proficient at database management and managing expense reports.
The financial administrator / bookkeeper position requires strong computer and internet skills. High capacity on email. Knowledge of Word, Excel and QuickBooks is a must. CPA not required.
Undergrad degree plus some previous experience in the field is required.
