Job Description

Responsibilities
Build and wire control panels using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, hand drills, and wire cutters.
Use test equipment like voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to ensure the quality of panels.
Fabricate and wire control panels, comparing wiring and location of control devices.
Examine wiring for loose or faulty connections and test wiring circuits for malfunctions, identifying root causes.
Label each wire in the panel accurately.
Essential Skills
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
Experience with wiring control panels.
Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment.
Knowledge of panel building processes, quality, safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience as an electrician or electrician apprentice.
Experience with HVAC units, particularly wiring.
Previous work experience or similar roles involving hands-on electrical work.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean, quiet, and temperature-controlled facility. Each panel builder has their own work area and works independently. All necessary hand tools are provided, and the dress code is casual, with jeans and tee shirts allowed. The shift is from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays currently in place.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glasgow, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
