Job description:
We're on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting processes for our diverse portfolio of super regional shopping malls across the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, and bank deposits.
- Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain accurate tenant billing and lease records.
- Coordinate with mall management on financial matters.
- Address tenant inquiries regarding billing and payment concerns.
- Assist in financial system upgrades and process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience (mall/retail industry experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Yardi or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Goodcommunication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
