Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining the condition of manufacturing equipment. This role includes repairing and/or replacing failed components and performing preventative maintenance measures. The technician will also develop short and long-term repairs aimed at improving quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
Develop short and long-term repair strategies to enhance quality and efficiency.
Apply automation skills along with knowledge in electronics and mechanics to install and troubleshoot circuitry and control systems on machinery.
Work on AC & DC Systems up to 480 volts.
Record maintenance and repair activities in a computer-based maintenance management system.
Perform electrical maintenance on various machines including lathes, mills, welding and brazing equipment, presses, and automated assembly lines.
Work with PLCs, CNCs, and Multi-Access Robots daily.
Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
Understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings to solve problems efficiently.
Strive to reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing root cause analysis.
Commit to safety and quality, and demonstrate strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
Work collaboratively as part of a team.
Essential Skills
2-4 years of experience in a maintenance environment, preferably in manufacturing or a fast-paced setting.
General knowledge of electrical or electronics, machines and tools, measurement instruments, automation/robotics, maintenance, and repair.
Basic troubleshooting and familiarity with PLCs.
Basic knowledge of mathematics and trigonometry to understand complex instructions and schematics.
Intermediate maintenance skills.
Ability to create standard operating procedures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic.
Knowledge of electrical OSHA standards.
Ability to troubleshoot situations, analyze potential issues, and determine next steps using troubleshooting tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PLC programming and edits.
Experience with 480v systems.
Associate Degree in Machining Technology or Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent work experience (preferred but not required).
Experience as a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician.

Work Environment
The work environment is indoor and climate-controlled, fast-paced, and does not require medications, certifications, or personal protective equipment. The shift structure rotates every 28 days between 1st and 3rd shifts, Monday through Friday, usually with no weekend work. The initial training will be on the 1st shift for 2-3 weeks before moving to a 6pm-6:30am shift structure with rotating 36-hour and 48-hour work weeks, with every other weekend off.

The pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $57200.00/yr.
