This position will set up, maintain, and operate battery assembly processing in space battery assembly. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out safely while maximizing efficiency to achieve our daily and monthly production objectives.S
Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Technical degree is a plus (Certified in J-STD-001, IPC610 and IPC620)
Working knowledge of diverse equipment/tooling and measurement tools (claiper, micrometer, etc.)
Understanding of production procedures and protocols
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of PPE/OSHA requirements)
Ability to read and comprehend mechanical assembly drawings, schematics, process specifications
Analytical and mechanical skills mindset
Ability to work in dry environment, stand for up to 8 hours, sit for up to 8 hours, and lift 50 lbs on a semi frequent basis
Attention to detail and quality product output
Teamwork and effective communication skills
Average or above average computer skills
Responsibilities
Set up machines/tooling (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
Insert raw material or parts into semi-automated machine fixtures
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
Test operation of machinery and tooling periodically for optimum output
Maintain the equipment per the requirements for preventative maintenance protocols
Problem solving, troubleshoot and fix issues that may occur during processing
Quality, check output to spot any material and/or equipment or tooling related mistakes or flaws
Knowledge and understanding when to hald production to protect self, protect from scrap, protect equipment/tooling, protect material and product, quarantine suspect material and product
Reporting and recording records of approved or defective units and final product

Salary Range
USD $22.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.
