The role
The Fabrication Supervisor ensures production stays on track by
overseeing shop floor activities, meeting safety, quality, and delivery
KPIs. Key responsibilities include managing production, resolving
personnel issues, and driving process improvements, with a focus on
safety, quality, customer service, and cost efficiency.
How youll make an impact
Ensure OSHA, EPA, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 compliance, maintaining safety
programs, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and quality management systems
(QMS).
Conduct safety investigations, lead or participate in customer complaint
investigations (CCIs), and enforce quality standards.
Oversee production processes, monitor workloads, ensure labor and
material availability, and address production capacity risks.
Track and analyze production performance, ensuring accurate SAP
inventory transactions and maintaining process flow.
Communicate site goals and KPIs, holding employees accountable to
performance metrics such as OEE and absorption.
Support 5S standards, conduct audits, and participate in Lean projects
and initiatives like Kaizen.
Manage employee relations, approve payroll, conduct performance
appraisals, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
What do you bring
High School diploma with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a
manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team of 25+ employees.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite; ERP experience (SAP a plus).
Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools; Yellow Belt certification
provided.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management
skills.
Proven leadership skills, including conflict management, coaching, and
team accountability.
