Job Summary:
The Beaver Creek Lift Maintenance team is currently seeking qualified Lift Electrical Team Lead to join our Lift Electrical crew. This is a leadership position within Mountain Operations and holds the responsibility of establishing and maintaining positive relationships, management of personnel and resources, and developing a team of qualified Lift Electrical Technicians. Along with other members of the team, a qualified candidate will perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance as well as troubleshooting on a variety of electrical, electro-mechanical, industrial control systems and commercial equipment including low voltage AC controls, DC controls, motors and drives. Duties also include assisting maintenance management and/or personnel with the implementation of maintenance programs including SCADA systems, scheduling of projects and personnel, and installing electrical and electronic upgrades on ski lifts. This is year-round full-time outdoor work in a mountainous environment that will involve climbing and working at height on ski lift towers.

Job Responsibilities:
Working with and supporting Lift Maintenance Management in the completion of their duties and responsibilities
Scheduling of maintenance, projects, and personnel
Establishing and following company and department policies and procedures
Fostering a work environment that focuses on safety, quality and integrity
Monitoring and correcting concerns affecting safety in the work place
Proper recording of maintenance and/or repairs performed
Ensure required inspections are conducted
Training and leading of personnel in proper maintenance and operation of ski lift equipment and machinery
Responsible for assuring lifts are in compliance with ANSI B.77 and CPTSB regulations, and in accordance with industry standards and practice
Establishment, follow-up, and follow-through of employee goal setting and performance reviews
Participate in department meetings
Participate in managing financial budgets and purchasing of tools and equipment
Proactive interdepartmental coordination
Project management
Ensure effective two-way communication
Monitor program effectiveness and strive for continual improvement
Actively involved in lift emergency procedures and time dependent repairs
Supports the professional growth and skill development of staff
Responsible for immediately communicating all abnormal or unusual conditions, incidents, observations, or system malfunctions to Lift Maintenance management
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
4+ years Electromechanical Maintenance experience
Extensive electrical background and proven experience in maintaining ski lifts and machinery (or similar equipment)
Troubleshooting expertise
Able to communicate effectively with staff and guests
Must demonstrate a strong commitment to guest service
Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Well organized and can adapt to change quickly
Clean MVR background
Maintaining a high level of professionalism
High School Diploma or equivalent
Additional Requirements:
The ability to work rotating schedule including weekends and nights
Working at heights
Must have Level III Electrical skills and/or abilities
Knowledge of regulatory codes
Knowledge and experience in the usage of rigging
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
Exposure to inclement weather conditions
The expected pay range is $23.33 - $55.98. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
