Job Title: Finishing Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Finishing Carpenter who can construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. The ideal candidate should have experience in drywall, texturing, and painting, as well as the ability to lay tiles for flooring and walls. While residency in Mankato is not required, the candidate must be able to respond to all locations within the territory, including Henderson, Faribault, New Ulm, and Fairmont.
Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Perform drywall and texturing tasks efficiently.
Carry out painting jobs as required.
Lay tiles for flooring and walls.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
Execute frame carpentry tasks, including building frameworks for roofs, doors, windows, and staircases.
Conduct remodeling projects by assessing existing structures and implementing improvements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in carpentry or related field.
Familiarity with drywall.
Experience in tile laying.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic understanding of electrical work can enhance versatility on the job site.
Previous experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
