Job Description
We are seeking mechanical and electrical technicians to join our electrical maintenance department The successful candidate will be responsible for the shift maintenance of electrical systems, utilizing their knowledge of industrial electricity and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), 480v 2 phase motors, etc.
Responsibilities
Perform shift maintenance of electrical systems on the rolling mill.
Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, AC/DC digital drives, and 480-volt 3-phase motors.
Utilize knowledge of NFPA70E standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure the functionality of automation systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic diagrams.
Collaborate with a team of electricians and engineers to maintain the large steel mill environment.
Welding and fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
Essential Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
Experience with 480-volt 3-phase motors and digital drives.
Understanding of NFPA70E standards and LOTO procedures.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school GED and a vocational or trade school degree, or apprenticeship and journeyman card (Industrial Electrician).
Knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with hydraulics and robotics is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
