Duties included
Complies with Company policies, procedures, regulations.
Drafts capital budget requests
Creates specifications for competitive bids on equipment, systems, and construction/installation services
Coordinates and controls the work of contractors and equipment suppliers
Implements new technologies to solve problems and to upgrade existing facilities
Prepares reports and presentations as needed
Leads/participates in continuous improvement projects
Utilizes computer hardware and software to enhance data collection and analysis
Drafts operating instructions and provides training on the operation of new equipment/facilities
Supports Production and Maintenance as a technical resource
Lead and supervise/manage in a union environment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
B.S in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years' experience working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Experience with high voltage
Experience leading teams of hourly Electricians
