Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant with advanced Excel skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of office workflows, and contributing to efficient logistics coordination. Preference will be given to candidates who bring experience in logistics or supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and document management.
Utilize advanced Excel features (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) to manage spreadsheets, report findings, and optimize workflows.
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings as required.
Assist in logistics operations, including shipment tracking, vendor communication, and inventory updates (preferred but not mandatory).
Communicate professionally with internal teams and external vendors or clients to support operational processes.
Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports, presentations, and correspondence in a timely and organized manner.
Support team members in solving operational challenges and follow up on outstanding tasks.
Perform additional duties as needed to support administrative or logistics functions.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functionalities.
Logistics or supply chain experience preferred, but candidates with willingness to learn logistics will be considered.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is an advantage.
Education & Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Certification in Microsoft Excel (or comparable) is a plus.
Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or similar certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
