Electrical Engineer
Location:San Antonio, TX - On site at the Toyota Campus on Applewhite Road

Position Summary:
Toyoda Gosei, a Tier One supplier to Toyota, is seeking a
highly skilled Electrical Engineerto support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems, including
switchgear, power distribution, and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) integrationwithin our production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical engineering, ensuring system reliability, safety, and efficiency in alignment with Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize
electrical power distribution systems, including
switchgear and circuit protection.
Troubleshoot and maintain
electrical systems, controls, and automation equipmentwithin a manufacturing environment.
Support the integration of
PCB (Printed Circuit Board) componentsinto production processes and equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including
maintenance, production, and quality, to resolve electrical and automation issues.
Ensure compliance with
Toyota Production System (TPS) principles, NFPA standards, and OSHA electrical safety regulations.
Assist in the
installation, commissioning, and maintenanceof new or upgraded electrical equipment.
Develop and update
electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentationto support manufacturing operations.
Identify and implement
continuous improvement initiativesto enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on electrical systems and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
3-5 years of experiencein a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or Tier One supplier industry.
Strong knowledge of
switchgear, power distribution, circuit protection, and industrial electrical systems.
Experience with
PCB design, troubleshooting, and integrationis a plus.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD Electrical or EPLANfor electrical design and documentation.
Familiarity with
PLC systems, automation controls, and industrial networkingpreferred.
Knowledge of
Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen principlesis highly desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
