The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of cardiothoracic surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery or foreign equivalent or eligible for such certification.
Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic instruction of medical students, residents and fellows.

We are open to applicants who currently practice adult cardiac surgery or to any current cardiothoracic fellows who will complete their fellowship by August 2025.
