The Training Specialist manages and improves Enbridge Power Operations'
Electrical Safety Program, ensuring workforce competency and safety.

What You Will Do
Manage, execute, and continuously improve Enbridge Power Operations'
Electrical Safety Program, and deliver training associated with the program.
Administer training systems and processes, including skills assessments,
curriculum requirements, job skills gap analysis, and training delivery to
ensure a safe, competent, and efficient workforce.
Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, ensuring compliance with the
Electrical Safety Program, and lead training and competency assessments as
required.
Collaborate with Operations to assess and plan for long-range training needs
and develop necessary procedures for implementing electrical work.
Perform electrical safety audits, manage training delivery with technical
and professional vendors, and liaise with external agencies to share
information and identify best practices.
Who You Are
You possess post-secondary education in a related field of study.
7 to 10 years of experience in wind turbine, solar, or battery electrical
storage systems in field operations or construction.
4-6 years of training experience, formal or informal, with a high
electrical proficiency and understanding of mechanical systems.
Knowledge of NFPA-70E and other relevant electrical safety codes, with
experience in high-voltage electrical systems, preferably in the renewables
sector.
Strong interpersonal skills, innovative problem-solving abilities, and a
dedication to safety and quality.
