GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:The Electrical Design Engineering focus specializes in activities related to electrical design, technical analysis, and manufacturing support for microwave integrated systems.This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, if needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Learns to use professional concepts. - Applies knowledge and basic problem solving techniques to define and resolve problems. - Determines a course of action based on guidelines.- Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Work is reviewed periodically based on a set of defined procedures or precedence. - Normally receives general instruction on work and new assignments.- Develops stable working relationships internally. Exchanges standard/basic information with colleagues and immediate supervisor, project leaders and other professionals in the team./group.- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Required Experience:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:- Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties, including computer skills.- Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.- Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.- Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing, and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment, and changes, and more.- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.- Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job.- Ability to obtain Security Clearance, if needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Requires no previous professional experience.- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:- Office, open cubical, shop floor environments.- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones).
