What Youll Get to Do
The Industrial Process Maintenance Technician is a maintenance role that is focused on the industrial process sector of the business. The position will focus on preforming and documenting preventative maintenance and repairs on various aluminum extrusion geared machinery, diagnosing malfunctions, and preforming equipment installation. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager.
This role is perfect for an individual who safety centric, detail oriented, and possesses effective communication skills. A vital member of the Industrial Process Maintenance department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
Diagnose equipment malfunctions using mechanical, electrical, and computerized tools
Ensure all machinery is functioning safely and efficiently with minimal downtime
Install, align, and calibrate new or rebuilt equipment as needed
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and equipment diagrams
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance
What We Are Looking For
High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school certification preferred
3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in aluminum extrusion or similar heavy manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
