JOB REQUIREMENTS: Oversee installation and startup of Syntegon packaging
equipment. Determine correct components required to supply customers for
component obsolescence on Syntegon packaging equipment. Support machine
installations, service requirements, and training. Implement services
including upgrades for improved performance, up to date safety features,
latest technology to overcome obsolescence issues, equipment
refurbishment, equipment rebuilds, line reconfiguration and
commissioning, and equipment relocation. Responsible for completing
development projects and customer orders, including schematics,
software, bill of materials, and engineering change notices. Interact
with customers and assist with preparing quotes and documenting
projects. Make software changes to various Syntegon equipment platforms
to successfully execute modernization to existing customer equipment.
Create detailed schematics both to existing design and from a blank
sheet for proper technical documentation to support modernization of
Syntegon equipment. Responsible for the design of original software and
hardware design to support new and existing products. Interact with and
assist the modernizations team and lead the development of products and
projects, as well as developing standards. Evaluate and provide
programming changes. Provide training to Field Service Technicians.
Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the US. Domestic and
international travel is required 30% of the time. Position requires
Bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering,
Controls Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Software
