JOB OVERVIEW:
This position will support property and facility maintenance for various
properties in Illinois and Indiana as well as special projects that may
arise. It is a full-time position with a 40-45-hour workweek.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Facilities Maintenance Worker you will ensure the smooth and
efficient operation of facilities and properties by performing routine
maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs. The
position will also involve coordinating and supervising contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance:
Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, machinery, and building
systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Follow established preventative maintenance schedules.
Identify potential problems and address them before they escalate.
Repair and Maintenance:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and, as
needed, coordinate work and repairs with outside contractors.
Document all maintenance and repair work performed.
General Facility Upkeep:
Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the properties and
facilities, including the grounds and common areas. Perform tasks such
as painting, carpentry, and landscaping.
Ensure the safety and security of the facility by addressing potential
hazards.
Equipment and Inventory Management:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and equipment.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and materials.
Ensure that the equipment is properly maintained and in good working
order.
Maintain vehicles and coordinate repairs and outside maintenance.
Coordinate Contractors:
Schedule, supervise, and coordinate work done by contractors.
Investigate and obtain quotes for work needed by outside contractors.
Approve work done by contractors and review invoices for payment
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other
stakeholders.
Document all maintenance activities and issues.
Follow safety procedures and protocols.
Other Duties:
May be required to work in shifts or provide on-call support.
May be required to assist with other tasks as needed.
Drive between company locations as required to support operational
needs.
JOB EXPERIENCE:
No experience- Some trade experience is preferred. On-the-job training
to be provided.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Trade and Industry Classes
Valid Driver\'s License
EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or Equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements
of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The
employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The
employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and

to 10 pounds, and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50
pounds.

Expected Pay Range**: \$18.25-\$21/hr, non-exempt
Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation
in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving
pre-established individual and company performance metrics.
