JOB SUMMARY
This position involves the operation of CNC Machinery tools in an efficient manner. The CNC Operator must demonstrate skills and knowledge required to maintain the operation of a CNC machine and fulfill the essential functions of the job.

Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience
1 to 3 years of experience CNC machines and mechanical tools
Requirements and Certifications
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Forklift truck experience is a plus
Demonstrate mathematical skills such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Able to read, write and understand work instructions and visual drawings
Demonstrate strong attention to details
Able to work independently and in a team
Must be able to communicate in English
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and maintain machine, tooling, and parts in optimal production condition.
Work safely, following all safety regulations, to prevent injuries.
Meet production requirements as defined on product routing and notify supervisor immediately if goal cannot be attained.
Observe machine observations to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and dial caliper.
Inspect work pieces throughout the production run, for out-of-tolerance machining and record all required readings.
Work as a team to troubleshoot manufacturing problems and perform quality assurance checks of the work being performed.
Ensure machine is running correctly to prevent damage to the machine or tooling.
