Description
We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this contract-to-permanent role, you will oversee the daily operations of our front office, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth communication between guests, employees, and vendors. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests and visitors by answering the front door and directing them to the appropriate employee or meeting location.
Answer and transfer incoming calls, ensuring they are routed to the correct department, and handle complaints by escalating them to the appropriate extension when necessary.
Maintain a tidy and organized front office area, manage inventory of office supplies, and coordinate procurement processes with administrative staff.
Review daily meeting schedules to ensure visitors are properly directed and assist with setting up and maintaining conference rooms between meetings.
Provide support to employees by answering questions related to benefits, payroll, uniforms, wellness programs, and other inquiries, and escalate issues to the appropriate team member when needed.
Deliver administrative assistance for company events and projects, including wellness screenings, open enrollment, and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the organization.
Requirements - Proven experience in administrative roles with a focus on customer service and front desk operations.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multi-line phone systems and direct calls effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and streamline processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and vendors.
Familiarity with data entry and file organization.
Experience with concierge services or similar roles is a plus.
