Electrical Engineering Technician
Pay Rate: $25-32/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible)
Overview:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the design, review, and fabrication of industrial control panels. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about electrical engineering, project support, and collaboration across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Review engineering information and customer blueprints to ensure designs meet code and can be built accurately.
Assemble print packages for the manufacturing floor, including bill of materials (BOMs), drawings, and component research.
Identify and cross-reference electrical components to optimize delivery, design, and cost.
Interface with client and distributor representatives to support project execution.
Act as a liaison between operations, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
Schedule and execute design and manufacturing kickoff meetings and reviews.
Perform ACAD schematic and design development.
Complete as-built documentation for projects.
Support capital projects individually and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in industrial automation fabrication or a related field.
Knowledge of electrical systems, including 120V to 480V AC/DC.
Strong understanding of electrical code compliance for industrial control panels.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware and networks is a plus, but not required.
Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Willingness to complete UL certification and related training when offered.
