SALARY RANGE: $48,500 - $78,642 per school year

We are looking for a motivated and energetic person to serve as the Teacher for our Trade Electricity Program.

DUTIES:
Provide instruction for High School students in a Career and Technical Education program in Trade Electricity.
Implement curriculum according to New York State electrical code.
Implement Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) to meet students' needs.
Work in a team environment that fosters the philosophy of collaborative planning and an interdisciplinary approach to learning.
Participate in faculty and professional development meetings.
Work collaboratively with businesses, advisory committees, and other educational partners.
Effectively communicate with school staff and parents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 4 years of paid industry experience as an electrician.
OR-
Associates degree or higher in Electrical, plus 2 years of paid industry experience as an electrician.
Willingness to pursue Career and Technical Teaching Certification for Electrical, grades 7-12.
Commitment to supporting students' social emotional and academic development.
Enthusiasm towards working with students and their families to help the students succeed.
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with adults and students.
Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
