Role Summary:
As an Lead Electrical Technician, you will work with a team of technicians and engineering resources to build, fabricate, and repair test equipment in the eFab (Electronic Fabrication group). Your role is crucial in supporting customers across Engineering and ISC, ensuring the quality and functionality of avionics products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Assembly and Repair: Assemble, modify, and repair cable harnesses, circuit cards, break-out boxes, power controllers, test stations/racks, EMI fixtures, and micro-electronics.
Testing and Calibration: Conduct tests and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
Troubleshooting: Perform electronic troubleshooting and repair, working directly with engineering to offer problem-solving solutions.
Documentation: Read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and prints, and follow work instructions.
Collaboration: Work effectively with others to achieve goals and support continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications:
7 years of technician experience.
Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical and mechanical schematics and prints.
Knowledge and use of crimping tools, soldering iron, cutters/strippers, mechanical tools, volt-meter, continuity testers, label maker, etc.
Experience building/fabricating test equipment assemblies.
Experience working on red-label products.
Familiarity with IPC standards and/or IPC certification.
Familiarity with SAP.
Computer savvy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and follow pre-established guidelines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Creative thinking and idea generation.

Pay Details: $45.00 per hour
