Job Description:
Brief Summary: The Lead Reporting & Analytics Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of all reporting related to Product Usage using our Sub Capacity Reporting Tool (SCRT). This critical role demands a seasoned professional with extensive SQL and database expertise, including the ability to map complex data sets and effectively collaborate with product management and the internal IT department to lead projects and drive system improvements.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and administer all aspects of the Sub Capacity Reporting Tool (SCRT) analysis system.
Develop, generate, and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports using advanced SQL queries and other relevant tools.
Expertly map and integrate data from numerous and diverse sources to ensure comprehensive and accurate analysis.
Troubleshoot complex data discrepancies and reporting issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust, scalable solutions.
Collaborate closely and effectively with the internal IT department to lead and contribute to significant projects aimed at improving current analysis systems, data infrastructure, and overall efficiency.
Partner with product management teams to understand data needs, translate them into requirements, and ensure alignment between analysis capabilities and product strategy.
Gather and refine requirements from stakeholders across various departments, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of analysis processes, data flows, database schemas, and system configurations.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in database management, SQL development, and data engineering methodologies.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
Proven ability to map and integrate data from multiple disparate data sets.
Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with product management teams to understand data needs and translate them into reporting solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred:
Experience working with Google BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with scripting languages such as Javascript, VBA and Python for data manipulation and automation.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $103,000 - $164,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
