ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - HRBP SUPPLY CHAIN - CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN, MN)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position provides administrative support for Human Resources Operations.
Prepare and Update various Key Performance Indictor (KPI) and other documents utilizing excel and google docs for Plant HR metrics.
Oversee administration of Social Accountability plant audit portal and assist plant HR teams on navigating the portal.
Oversee administration of Unemployment portal and coordinate necessary documentation with vendor and corporate payroll to ensure our plants and corporate unemployment claims are being responded to on a timely basis.
Vacation tracking for corporate north and south HR teams.
Assist with plant engagement and belonging network lead and committee orientation, organize corporate leadership update meetings and prepare and send out timely minutes.
Gather and analyze companywide data and create and maintain multiple high level safety Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports that are distributed company wide and to state and federal agencies.
Administrate the security badge system along with reporting for new employees, consultants, and contractors.
Perform various administrative duties for the Director of Labor Relations & Safety, Human Resources Business Partners, and Safety Business Partners, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements (flights, hotels, car rentals), and submitting expense reports.
Manage PCard transactions and approvals.
Run and distribute weekly/monthly badge security reports and maintain a tracker for quarterly security taskforce meetings and covert audit completions.
Set up and maintain vendors, manage purchase orders, and invoice tracking, process and follow up on payments, and ensure timely submission of check requests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Software proficiency in the Windows environment includes Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Advanced Excel, Power point, Outlook, Oracle, and ADP reporting.
Demonstrated pattern of highly effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability.
Possess unquestionable ability to maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to initiate appropriate action independently as well as exercise maturity in judgment.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and balance multiple tasks at once.
Demonstrated successful use of personal computers and word processing and ability to learn and use specialized computer programs.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $18.25 - $25.50 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
