Position Highlights:
- Long-term contract with potential for extension
- Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy Services at GIMC Hospital
- 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program/school
- Active pharmacy license in any U.S. state
- Minimum of 2 years’ pharmacy experience
- Prior IHS or federal facility experience preferred
- Contract experience is highly desired
- Must be able to pass a federal background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret physician orders to ensure accurate, safe medication therapy
- Dispense medications and provide thorough patient counseling
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate medication effectiveness
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage protocols
- Prepare sterile medications following aseptic techniques
- Collaborate across hospital departments, including pediatric units
- Offer clinical guidance on pain management and drug interactions

- Be a graduate of an accredited pharmacy program/school
- Previous contract experience is a plus
- Previous IHS facility experience helpful
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Have a Pharmacist degree from a school of pharmacy approved by a state-accrediting agency
- Possess a current, active, unrestricted license from any of the 50 United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the District of Columbia.
- Maintain continuing education/certification
- Must be a US citizen, living primarily in the United States
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist within the past 36 months
- References required
- Must meet all credentialing and background investigation requirements.
