Sales Account Manager – Power Semiconductors

We're supporting a global leader in power semiconductors as they look to bring on a Sales Account Manager. This individual will oversee key customer relationships across the Americas, especially within high-growth segments like e-mobility, energy, and advanced electronics manufacturing. The position blends technical depth with commercial strategy and offers strong ownership over major account development.
The company’s technology portfolio includes advanced GaN and SiC solutions, and this role plays a central part in scaling their presence in mission-critical applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Spearhead account development and revenue generation across a defined group of strategic customers.
- Build and maintain executive and engineering-level relationships to ensure long-term success.
- Identify new application areas to increase design wins and commercial uptake.
- Act as a link between customer needs and internal product teams to shape tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison, managing communication and aligning goals across multiple touchpoints.
- Coordinate with third-party manufacturers and design partners to support product integration and delivery.
- Handle forecasting, opportunity tracking, and inventory planning to meet customer expectations.
- Expect regular regional travel (mostly California-based) with some out-of-state and occasional international visits.
Experience & Qualifications required
- Background in high-power systems (e.g., EV platforms, renewables, or industrial power applications).
- Sales or business development experience within the semiconductor ecosystem—ideally focused on advanced power technologies.
- A track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic relationships.
- Comfortable navigating both commercial and technical discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Familiar with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
- Degree in electrical engineering or similar technical field (business education is a bonus).
- 5+ years in a relevant role (more senior profiles welcome).
- Must be mobile and ready to travel to customer sites and events as needed.
