Your Job Responsibilities
- Perform monthly benefits invoice reconciliations to ensure accuracy of enrollments and billing.
- Perform accurate and timely processing of enrollments, enrollment changes and terminations in an HRIS and insurance provider portals.
- Audit employee enrollments for accuracy, request additional documentation from employees such as EOI or to substantiate qualifying life events when necessary.
- Work with carriers and HRIS representatives to resolve EDI file issues promptly.
- Conduct monthly benefits enrollment meetings with newly eligible employees.
- Send out required notices in compliance with ERISA, COBRA and other legislative requirements.
- Work with insurance representatives to develop and maintain clear and accurate benefits communication materials and ensure the materials are available to employees on the Company’s intranet.
- May administer Leave of Absences in accordance with leave laws and benefit programs (such as FMLA, disability, workers compensation, Colorado FAMLI leave, parental leave and other leaves).
Requirements
Your Requirements and Qualifications:
- An Associate degree
- Minimum 2 years’ experience administering benefits
- Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
What puts you ahead? Experience with Paylocity or a similar HRIS, experience administering leaves in multiple states, and if you have been responsible for conducting benefits enrollment meetings in the past.
Hourly rate is expected to be between $25 - $30 per hour and will be based on several factors including the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
