Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to spearhead sales and growth efforts in the electrical wire and cable sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electrical industry, experience in B2B sales, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, contractors, and end-users.
Reports to: Division Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on electrical products, especially wire and cable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of the electrical distribution channel and construction industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a strategic, analytical approach to sales growth.
Willingness to travel as needed (20-50%).
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. Essential Job Functions:
Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the electrical wire and cable market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across electrical contractors and industrial clients.
Collaborate with internal product and technical teams to provide tailored solutions and product recommendations.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $80000 to $150000 annually.
