We are seeking an experienced and innovative LED Technology Engineer to join our Research & Development (R&D) team. This role focuses on designing, prototyping, and developing next-generation LED lighting solutions for various applications, including general illumination, automotive, industrial, and specialized lighting systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in LED system design, circuit development, thermal management, and optical performance while driving new product innovation from concept to production.
Responsibilities
Design and proto@type LED lighting solutions for various applications, including automotive and industrial systems.
Develop and optimize circuit designs for LED systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Manage thermal performance and optimize optical output of LED systems.
Drive innovation in LED lighting from concept through to production.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and goals.
Conduct environmental testing and reliability analysis to ensure product durability.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits and optimize system efficiency.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in LED lighting, avionics, or military-grade electronics.
Strong expertise in LED driver design, power management, and PCB design.
Hands-on experience with prototyping tools, soldering, and lab equipment.
Knowledge of thermal management principles and light output efficiency optimization.
Familiarity with CAD tools for circuit design and PCB layout.
Ability to analyze LED performance metrics and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with military or aerospace lighting projects is a plus.
Knowledge of advanced LED phosphor materials, laser diodes, and solid-state lighting technologies.
Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques, 3D printing, and optical modeling software.
Understanding of NVIS-compatible lighting and tactical lighting requirements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
