Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description:
As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and troubleshooting electronic components of our products. You will read, interpret, and follow blueprints, electronic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products.
Responsibilities:
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, electronic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
Utilize handheld tools such as an impact driver, drill, and pop rivet guns.
Perform soldering, wire termination, and wire crimping.
Provide accurate soldering of circuit boards.
Provide component replacement on circuit boards.
Troubleshoot electronic components in electronic circuits.
Assemble through hole and surface mount circuit boards.
Operate solder flow equipment.
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Essential Skills:
High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Associate degree or Technical School with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of electronic assembly experience preferred.
Basic reading skills with the ability to follow directions.
Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
Strong thought and reasoning skills to solve problems.
High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
The ability to use hand tools in the correct manner to ensure proper assembly of products.
Good basic understanding of electronic circuitry and the ability to use volt meters and oscilloscopes to diagnose issues.
Experience with soldering, splicing, and wire wrap.
Experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Associate degree or Technical School with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience with soldering, splicing, and wire wrap.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
