rAbout This Role
Kansas State University\'s Aerospace and Technology Campus in Salina
seeks a dedicated Aviation Maintenance faculty member to join the
Department of Aviation. This full-time, 12-month instructor will be
focused on teaching credit and non-credit training courses for aviation
maintenance professionals.

**What You\'ll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:**
Must hold a current FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and
Powerplant ratings for at least the three (3) year period
immediately preceding the appointment
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge in maintenance fundamentals, aviation
materials, electrical systems, engine theory and applications,
aircraft metallic structures, systems and components, and other
related topics
Demonstrated familiarity with FAA regulations, particularly those
associated with 14 CFR Part 147
Three or more years A&P work experience, including various
operations such as Part 91, 135, and/or 145
Three or more years of teaching experience
Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills
Other Requirements:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
at the time of employment.
