Experienced General Auto Mechanic needed with excellent drive-ability &
electrical skills. Desirable candidate will be and able able to
diagnose, inspect, repair, service and/or overhaul vehicle problems and
perform maintenance for all makes and models, including Asian, Domestic
and European (i.e. replace brake pads, rotors, radiators, gaskets, water
pump, hoses, plugs, wires, distributor cap, switches, mirrors, knobs,
tires, etc.). Other responsibilities include greeting and interacting
with customers, answering the phone, preparing basic estimates, ordering
repair parts. Candidate should be professional and comfortable dealing
with all customers, providing excellent communication and a first rate
service experience throuought. Qualifications / Skills Requirements:
Valid driver\'s license and a good driving record. Drug screening and a
background check are a part of our hiring process. High School
Diploma/GED required. Solid written and verbal communication. Have your
own tools. Ability to use a computer to navigate through multiple
reference, maintenance, parts, and electronic diagnostic manuals.
Competent in use of automobile repair tools and equipment. ASE
certification desirable. Ability to perform day-to-day physical tasks
involving moderately demanding work including: standing, kneeling,
crawling, turning, and pushing or lifting moderately heavy objects.
Salary negotiable and commensurate with candidate\'s experience. 5 day
work week, absolutely no Saturdays. Part time candidates will be
considered. Holday pay offered after 90 days. Vacation pay offered after
2 years.
