Summary
\
Navajo County is offering a paid 6 week summer internship for applicants
who are at least 16 years of age or older. It will last from June
9th to July 18th.\
\
Interns will be placed in County departments and assigned various
administrative and support tasks, depending on the needs of the
department. The weekly commitment for interns will be 40 hours per week,
unless otherwise determined by the department.\
\

be more interested in interning for under the supplemental questions
portion.\
\
Each intern must provide their own transportation to and from their
worksite\
* Some departments might require you to be 18+*\
\

Essential Job Functions
(Essential function, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities

Assist Departmental staff in a variety of tasks.
Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer
records, and restricted County information.

Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of Customer service standards and protocols.
Skill in providing effective customer service, and dealing tactfully
and courteously with the public.
Skilled in following verbal and written instructions and procedures.
Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working
relationships with co-workers.
Desirable Qualifications
Current resident of Navajo County; AND any combination of training,
education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the
duties of the position; AND a valid AZ driver license may be required.
