Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in a correctional facility, you will provide direct care to inmates, assess health needs, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective treatment and outcomes. You'll care for a diverse range of health conditions, from minor ailments to major issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform health assessments in various facility settingsAdminister medications and treatmentsCollaborate with healthcare providers for coordinated carePromote safety and adhere to infection control and safety proceduresDocument care accurately and timelyProvide patient education and discharge planningQualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nursing programCurrent, unrestricted RN license in NJAt least 1 year of RN experience (correctional setting preferred)Position Overview:
