Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the onboarding process of new employees, coordinating necessary preparations, and providing support to our executive team.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including Regional Sales Managers
Coordinate logistics for onboarding, such as scheduling meetings and arranging meals
Provide administrative support to the executive team, including the CEO, CFO, Head of HR, Head of Marketing, and Head of ECommerce
Anticipate the needs of the team and take initiative in providing solutions
Ensure a smooth introduction to the company culture for new hires
Handle inbound and outbound calls and provide excellent customer service
Maintain accurate and efficient data entry and customer credit records
Manage email correspondence and schedule appointments effectively
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, for various tasks
Manage calendars for the executive team and new hires. Requirements - Proven experience in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service abilities, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships
Proficiency in data entry, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage email correspondence effectively, ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow-up
Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating excellent multitasking abilities
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, manage and manipulate data sets
Experience in using Microsoft Outlook for communication, scheduling and task management
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create engaging and informative presentations
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit, and format documents effectively
Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars, ensuring that all appointments are accurately tracked and conflicts are resolved in a timely manner
