Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive and collaborative work environment. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing administrative tasks, maintaining records, and facilitating communication across departments.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to office staff and leadership by managing schedules, documents, and communications.
Prepare, organize, and maintain records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for internal use.
Handle customer inquiries through inbound and outbound calls, email correspondence, and virtual meetings.
Assist with data entry and processing of orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as needed.
Perform document scanning, filing, and other clerical tasks to support efficient office operations.
Facilitate internal communication and collaboration across departments to maintain workflow.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to create and manage documents and presentations.
Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and providing assistance with administrative needs.
Take on additional duties as assigned to ensure the smooth running of the office. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in distribution, logistics, or foodservice industries.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Experience in customer service and handling inbound/outbound calls.
Ability to schedule and coordinate multiple appointments and meetings.
Positive and team-oriented attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
