A multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking an electrical designer to work on military projects, focusing on pure production-based tasks. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in military projects and will be able to design within low-voltage systems while learning medium voltage. This role offers the opportunity for career growth, potentially leading to a leadership position.
Responsibilities
Utilize Revit for electrical design tasks.
Design electrical systems within low-voltage parameters.
Learn and adapt to medium voltage design requirements.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam.
3+ years of electrical engineering experience within commercial, educational, or military projects.
3+ years of experience with Revit and designing within low voltage.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Electrical design, and ETAP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
4+ years of experience with Arc Flash, Easy PowerDB, SKM Power.
E.I.T or PE License is a plus.
Work Environment
The firm is a multidisciplinary MEP based in Seattle with a family-oriented atmosphere and approximately 33 employees. As an ESOP company, it offers diverse project opportunities, avoiding monotony in work. The position allows flexibility in the work environment, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least 2 days in the office. Consideration for fully remote work is possible for the ideal candidate.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
