Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. With over 100 years of experience, we are committed to delivering high-quality, performance-based feed technologies with the best ingredients. The ideal candidate will perform repairs and troubleshooting on custom feed mills and other unique equipment, ensuring all machinery is safe and operational.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on custom feed mills, press brakes, welders, conveyors, drill presses, band saws, plasma cutters, extruders, boilers, bag houses, and robots.
Understand and wire motors, electronics, work up to 480v, reset breakers, and change fuses.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment that is not operating properly.
Ensure all equipment is kept in proper and safe working condition.
Direct and perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance duties.
Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment.
Maintain facility building and grounds.
Essential Skills
Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Experience with repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and understand schematics.

Work Environment
1st shift: Flexible shift time from either 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. Occasional overtime of 5-10 hours per week and 1-2 Saturdays per month for special projects, with half days and the option to take a day off after working a Saturday. The role involves working both inside and outside and overseeing 3-4 technicians.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
