(Job Description)
A construction company in Spokane, WA is currently hiring for an HR Manager who will be focused on recruitment.
Pay - $30/hr. - $36/hr. (depending on relevant industry experience, job title, tenure, etc.)
Contract Duration - 6 Months Contract-To-Hire
Location - Spokane, WA (100% Onsite Monday - Friday)
(Responsibilities)
Recruitment: Actively market and recruit new employees, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and place new hires.
Employee Tracking: Maintain personnel records, manage HR documents, and update internal databases.
Onboarding: Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires.
DOT Compliance: Oversee DOT compliance programs and track testing.
General HR: Handle employee relations, administer benefits programs, assist the payroll department, ensure compliance with labor laws, develop and implement HR policies, and maintain confidential employee records.
Maintain and update the company website and participate in outreach events.
Carry out and implement company policies and procedures.
Assist with tracking and initiating employee training and development.
(Qualification Requirements)
3+ Years related experience.
Experience recruiting and interviewing.
Passion for working with people.
Construction experience highly considered.
Regulatory compliance experience or ability to learn quickly.
Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
Computer literacy (MS Office applications).
Thorough knowledge of labor laws.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects.
Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills.

No recruiting + interviewing experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
