Hiring: Electrical Assembler
1st Shift Monday - Friday 5:00am - 3:30pm OR 6:00am - 4:30pm depending on the supervisor. Expect to work 45-50 hours per week with mandatory overtime on Fridays. The work environment is temperature controlled, team-oriented, and spacious. Tools are provided to all employees.
Job Description
The Electrical Assembler routes wires for fire apparatus equipment by following wire diagrams and other technical drawings. They connect lights, hose reels, and other accessories to the electrical box and fabricate boxes, mounts, and other necessary equipment according to the blueprint. This position requires communication with fabricators for complete installation and the fabrication of wire harnesses as needed. The 12v Electrician utilizes basic hand tools to achieve objectives and performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet company needs.
Responsibilities
Route wires for fire apparatus equipment by following wire diagrams and other technical drawings.
Connect lights, hose reels, and other accessories to the electrical box.
Fabricate boxes, mounts, and other necessary equipment according to blueprints.
Communicate with fabricators for complete installation.
Fabricate wire harnesses as needed.
Utilize basic hand tools to achieve objectives.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet company needs.
Essential Skills
Experience with low voltage wiring.
Ability to perform electrical installations.
Knowledge of 12-volt systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Mechanical assembly skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in production settings.
Ability to work with basic hand tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
