Electrical Engineer - Battery Testing/Battery Equipment
Role Summary: Manage projects in a battery manufacturing environment, meet and/ or exceed company goals and objectives. Work with testing, test equipment, and how batteries are in communication with equipment.
Responsibilities:
Specification Development for new and existing battery test equipment
Equipment development, design, installation, commissioning, and handover to production
Support in process/product development
Support ramp up of series production
Continuous Improvement activities to support best in class production system
Requirements:
3-5+ years of job-related experience
4-year Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Electrical Engineering aptitude from previous experiences such as: Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrician, Electrical Technician
More preferred skills, but not required:
German language skills, PLC Programming/Automation (Siemens TIA), High-Level programming language(s) (for example C++ or similar)
Electrical Engineer with battery manufacturing experience (highly preferred, but not required)
Experience with/in:
Battery testing specifications
CAN/CAN FD communication
IT Systems and network / Analysis
UDS routine / DTC Analysis
Project/Vendor Management
Equipment Design/Analysis
Layout Design/Analysis
Process Development/Analysis
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
