say about working here! Under direct supervision of the Worker\'s
Compensation Claims Manager, this position is responsible for customer
service and general clerical administrative duties related to Worker\'s
Compensation claims administration. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Handles or refers telephone, written, and e-mail inquiries from members
and others. Processes incoming and outgoing mail. Codes, scans, and
attaches claim bills/records and correspondence into Kofax/Origami.
Follows-up on medical bills sent to Optum that were not returned. Enters
new claims and providers into Origami. Orders Medical Records for new
claims where treatment was sought. Enters new Stress claims. Forwards
incoming faxes to recipients. Verifies if identified claim was reported
by member. Verifies non-current bills to avoid duplication. Subrogation
entry into Origami/CCAP searches. Reviews EOB and Payment Processes
(Optum/Smartview). Reviews Origami claims entry with new member
onboarding. Prints and mails large volume correspondence on behalf of
the Claims Specialists. Enters payments for Claims Specialists (checks
and vouchers). Reviews, runs, and distributes OSHA reports annually to
members. Provides back-up to the other administrative assistants as
needed. Provides back-up check printing as needed. Performs other duties
as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma; The equivalent of one
year of technical or business school training; One year of related
experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior
experience working in the insurance industry is preferred, but not
required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities To perform this job
