What you will enjoy doing*
In this role you will provide HSE support with specific focus on improving Electrical Safety to multiple projects in the Americas Region
You will provide effective and consistent leadership, guidance and technical support to the Project HSE Managers with special focus on improving Contractors and Company's Electrical Safety practices
The role requires you to proactively identify potential gaps and improvement opportunities and subsequently initiate actions for long term resolution
You will work with other HSE Managers and help improve and / or develop new Training, Campaigns and communications on Electrical Safety
You will lead investigation and Root Cause Analysis for Construction and Commissioning HSE incidents as required
You will also work closely with Electrical SMEs in the Commissioning and Design functions to help improve any Electrical
Design gaps in permanent or temporary electrical requirements
Perform HSE Audits and periodic HSE inspections at all job sites to identify improvement opportunities. Electrical Safety will be a primary focus in these audits.
What makes you great
You should have a Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical Engineering
You should have additional HSE related qualification along with OSHA 30 hours training as a minimum in construction
Root Cause Analysis training will be preferred
In addition, you should have good knowledge about applicable OSHA requirements,
Must possess strong technical knowledge on Electrical Safety and general HSE matters in construction and
commissioning. (Very Important)
You must have at least (Twenty) 15 years of construction HSE site experience
You are expected to have a Corporate / HQ/ Regional HSE Manager role for at least 3 years
You should have good communication skill, a positive attitude and confidence to work with senior management, client and Regulatory personnel
You are expected to be innovative and be able to develop creative tools and solution
Ability to develop and impart training are necessary skills
The role requires approximately 50% travel to job sites
