Job Summary: As a Sr Engineering Test Technician, you will be working closely with Engineers perform a wide variety of electronic assembly tests on various RF module Technologies (SMT, Chip & Wire). Job Responsibility: Preform verification testing on new designs. Troubleshooting issues on newly designed modules. Setting up and operate test equipment to preform required tests. Evaluation of potential components for use in new designs. The cleanliness of work area and surrounding workspace. Required Qualification: Typically requires 3-5 years of tech experience. Proficient with the use of various RF test equipment (signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, Network analyzers, power meters), including running tests manually. Familiar with schematic diagrams and test documentation. Extensive knowledge of electronics principles and common RF tests including NF, P1dB, OIP3, Spurious. Experience testing and tuning microwave modules. Experience troubleshooting first built engineering units. Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures. Proficient using Microsoft Office software applications. This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens Preferred Qualification: Experience switch box design and construction. Ability to create a tune/test procedure. Assist in fixture design and feedback based on time on the bench. Experience with a wide variety of microwave modules including converters, switch filter banks, switch matrixes, LNA's.
