Job Description
Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking aConference Services Administrative Assistantto join our team. The Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.
This role will provide support to all members of the Conference / Convention Services team. Reporting to the Director of Conference Services, we expect that our chosen individual will be instrumental in establishing processes in the opening phase of the hotel.

Responsibilities
Supports the Conference Services department by providing administrative support to the director and managers.
Manages the customer database on an ongoing basis to meet the business requirements of the property and support company-wide database standards in order to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
Communicates guestroom block requests and revisions to the reservations / rooms teams and ensures accurate updating of guestroom room pickup in FDC.
Executes Omni's established procedures for tracking and monitoring tentative business and reporting lost, cancelled and turndown business.
Generates and monitors daily booking transaction reports to keep abreast of new, updated, and lost business on the books.
Maintains and updates plan values in FDC, including: Transient Protected, Group Rooms Budget (Rooms and Rates), and Minimum Acceptable Rate (MAR).
Creates reports as requested by the Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Conference Services, and General Manager.
Maintains folders for and master copies of monthly reports for reference.
Works closely with IT staff and vendors to troubleshoot software/database issues to determine and resolve errors, program functionality, and/or hardware functionality.
Champions the Omni culture on property and enthusiastically promotes the hotel and company.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent field of study preferred.
1+ years of previous experience in a hotel or resort setting.
1+ years of previous experience as an administrative assistant is preferred.
Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
Prior experience with Delphi FDC and Salesforce is preferred.
Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and the ability and comfort to communicate with customers and internal associates at all levels.
Must be flexible with schedule to work include some weekends, especially in the opening period of the hotel.
Ability to work in a variety of settings, including sedentary seated computer work, standing for periods of time, and walking the property, and occasionally conducting work that includes lifting and moving objects of up to 50 pounds.
