Maintenance Technician
2nd shift, Monday-Friday (2:30pm-11:30pm), with occasional overtime and Saturdays as needed. Hiring immediately.
Job Description
Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plan corrective actions.
Fabricate parts for new and existing equipment and assemble automated systems from individual parts and subassemblies.
Clear jams, set aside product for inspection and/or rework, and test equipment after repairs, changeovers, or extended downtime.
Complete preventative maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment ensuring safety and optimum performance.
Train equipment operators on correct use of equipment by reviewing requirements, SOPs, and adjustment techniques.
Notify production and engineering of recurring problems, equipment malfunctions, and supplies needed. Take related corrective actions and order replacement parts ensuring no loss in production time due to equipment maintenance and repair.
Follow all safety procedures and use necessary personal protective equipment. Ensure that all work meets regulatory requirements (OSHA).
Perform other duties as needed.

Ability to fabricate components and assemblies from drawings and concepts.
Safety-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, it can be loud for periods of time while working near equipment in operation. Hearing protection and safety glasses may be required. The employee must be able to hear forklift horns and work alone for extended periods or with others as required. The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an individual may encounter while performing the essential functions of this position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $71000.00/yr.
