Seeking a Counseling Clinical Supervisor to fill a leadership role
managing counseling service delivery and documentation supporting
children in Foster Care as well as their biological parents. This
individual will be a part of a dynamic and supportive leadership team
impacting the live of children in DCFS care. This individual will
directly supervise 5 counselors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\

Ensure the successful implementation of and compliance with
Medicaid Rule 132 policies and procedures.

Conducts and documents clinical supervision on all cases in
accordance with COA and DCFS standards and regulations.

Recruits, trains, and provides sound clinical and administrative
direction over counselors in the performance of their duties.

Works collaboratively with all program staff, including Program
Director, Program Manager, Program Supervisors, and Case
Managers to ensure overall well-being of clients within the
program.

Communicates problems or suggestions for improvement in services
to the Program Director.

Ensures the production of an accurate, organized, and
comprehensive Mental Health Assessment that integrates all
information gathered during assessment process, with minimal
need for revisions.

Guides counselors through use pf preventive interventions to
enhance clients level of functioning and ensure that mental
health needs are met.

Ensure all clinical documentation is completed within required
timeframes.

Ensure all clinical documentation supports the service
definition for which it is billed.

Ensure that Medicaid billing is submitted monthly.

Completes verbal or written reports as are required by
contractual or program design.

Conducts all programmatic functions within the timeframe
identified by DCFS and Supervisor.

Exhibits appropriate communication with other staff and clients.

Conducts self in a manner that reflects favorably on GACS.

Complete all mandatory agency and job specific training.

Assist GACS administration in any investigation against conduct
that is illegal.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Attend required staff meetings, agency meetings, and such other
meetings as requested by the Chief Operating Officer.
