Welder/Shop Laborer
Full Job Description
Company Overview: Neokraft Signs, Inc. is a commercially owned and
operated small business serving New England and shipping to customers
nationwide. We offer specialty construction services such as custom
design, fabrication and installation of signage. Other services include
project management, lighting maintenance and management, high-rise crane
services and much more. With roughly 30 employees, we have a strong
sense of community with all employees working together towards common
goals.
Responsibilities:
Reading and understanding shop drawings prior to starting a project
Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals
together
Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances
marked on the shop drawings
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is
preferred.
A minimum of 2 years experience as a welder (preferred).
Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and
manual tools.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and designs.
Outstanding attention to detail.
This is a full-time position, non-exempt role.
Work location is 70 Commercial Street, Lewiston, ME.
Regular hours are Monday thru Thursday 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday 6 AM to
2:30 PM.
Neokraft Signs, Inc. is a Drug-free workplace. Must be willing and able

Must be willing to authorize and pass a post-offer/pre-placement
background check as deemed appropriate per position.
Pay range is negotiable and is based on experience and ability.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
