Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description
The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our office. This role involves a variety of tasks including data entry, scheduling, and communication with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
Accurately input and manage data related to testing results, client information, and project details.
Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and site visits for the testing team.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, answering phone calls, emails, and addressing inquiries.
Prepare and maintain documents, reports, and records related to testing projects.
Assist with general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Work closely with the testing team to support their administrative needs and ensure smooth workflow.
Essential Skills
Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience in clerical and administrative support roles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction or testing industry.
Work Environment
This position is onsite, 5 days a week at the 1610 E Madison Ave location in Des Moines. The work schedule is around 30 hours per week, typically from 9am to 4pm, with flexibility on hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
